GFI Experience for RUL
Our Support Analyst was one of the 5 member-team supporting GFI Investment / Brokerage Bank Trading Floors such as Commodities/Energy, Power, Emissions, Shipping, Capital Financials, Credit Risks, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Oil & Gas and Asia Market desks on stocks/Options/Futures trading market on many trading/brokerage platforms as mentioned below; with over 1500 users support.
· Front line support of Market Data Applications Support Analyst & responsibilities includes: (Futures, Credit Derivatives, Money Market, Options, Repo's, Metals, Oil and Gas & Energy Commodities) within the Trading Desks & Non-Trading Staffs Globally.
· NT4, Win2k/Win 2003 Server Administration, TCP/IP, Virtual Private Network, Active Directory skills.
· Diagnosed/Supported/Troubleshoot Market Data Applications on PCs, Blackberry, XDA, iPAQ & Laptops.
· Provided HW/SW support at 2nd/3rd line level, and mini-talks on Palms/Pocket-PCs/Blackberry;
· Installed, configured and support computer hardware including Servers, PCs, Printers, Windows Based Terminals, Laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, Scanners and other IT equipment in both networked and standalone environments.
· Perform upgrades on critical & non-critical hardware and business applications –Fidessa, Trayport, and Eurex.
· End user liaison with Trade floor and non-Trade floor staff.
· Windows 2k3 Active Directory and Exchange Administration
· Taking on small Project related work and Product evaluations as financial options calculators of various types.
· Extensive experience supporting real-time and historical market data applications e.g. Trayport, CreditMatch, EnergyMatch, ForexMatch, Eurex.
· Excellent working knowledge of Reuters 3000Xtra, Dealing 3000, Bloomberg, Trayport, Eurex, Liffe, NYSE, ASE.
· Managed the incidents, using Altiris software as necessary and prioritised resources to ensure the best possible outcome for each customer calls and business services.
· Setup and supported Citrix Metaframe run client applications and other web based business applications
